Comments: Malabar is a moderately unique cube. It was discovered by 3M in Malabar, India. Phrozendata, Roadkill and Thor all had a hand in domesticating the Malabar cube we know today.
Cap: Dark in the center and fades to a light yellow near the edge.
Stem: Meaty stems. The veils may stay connected to the cap, even when the cap is fully mature.
Gills: Attachment adnate to adnexed. Grayish coloration in young fruit bodies becoming nearly black in maturity.
Spores: Dark purple.
